Airless Packaging Market Recent Developments

  • In August 2025, BOTTLESS was named a finalist in this years Sustainability Awards for its refillable Airless Pak, which reportedly reduces plastic use by 90%. It was nominated in the Pre-Commercialized Driving the Circular Economy category.
  • In June 2025, Aptar Beauty, cosmetics products company, revealed the introduction of new airless cosmetics packaging products. The Aptar beauty company announced the expansion of the airless packaging portfolio in LATAM.
  • In October 2024, Lumson, a company focused in introducing premium airless solutions, revealed the introduction of the XTAG: a 15 and 30mL glass bottle featuring an airless refill system that utilizes pouch technology.
  • In March 2024, APC Packaging, packaging company, revealed the introduction of the EAPP EcoReady All Plastic Airless Pump, manufactured from plastic and engineered with airless technology, focusing for a more eco-friendly dispensing solution.
  • In April 2025, SVR, beauty brand revealed that the company has chooses Micro airless packaging for dermocosmetic product. 
  • March, 2024: In an effort to provide a more environmentally responsible dispensing solution, APC Packaging revealed the launch of its EAPP EcoReady All Plastic Airless Pump, which is constructed of plastic and has airless technology. The business offers packaging options to the cosmetics and personal care sector with the goal of promoting a more "environmentally conscious" solution by removing the conventional metal spring and using sturdy plastic materials instead.
  • October, 2023: Aptar Beauty and Pinard Beauty Pack unveiled their intention to introduce Future Airless PET, the industrys first completely recyclable airless packaging solution. The large-sized Omni channel airless packaging is suitable for sun care products, hair, body and personal cleansing goods. It makes use of Pinards exclusive Airless polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle-in-bottle technology in addition to Aptars Future polyethylene (PE) pump.
  • June, 2023: Lumson introduced XPaper, a paper-based airless packaging system including a multi-layered pouch designed to prevent contamination of formulations. The structure makes it easier to recycle and recover materials after a product is finished by allowing the plastic and paper components of the packaging to be separated. The paper bottle uses 47% less plastic, weighs roughly 50% less than an identical PET bottle and emits 34% less CO2. The consumption of resources, minerals, and metals has also decreased by 92%.
