  • In November 2025, a TOPPA group company and a completely owned subsidiary of TOPPAN Holdings Inc. and its India-based subsidiary TOPPAN Speciality Films Private Limited successfully installed a hybrid production line capable of generating both biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film and biaxially-oriented polyethylene (BOPE) on the exact system.
  • In March 2025, Innovia Film, a manufacturer of biaxially oriented polypropylene films for graphics, labels, tobacco, and packaging, revealed a new manufacturing line for environmentally friendly films at its Schkopao facility, in proximity to Leipzig in Germany. 
  • In September 2025, Prevented Ocean Plastic, along with main sector stakeholders, revealed its primary ever food-safe polypropylene PP, which is one of the most commonly used yet least recycled plastics on the planet, and is recycled to the European standard (EU 2022/1616).
