  • In May 2025, in the United States, KIND Snacks, a company well-known for its tasty and healthful snacks, launched its first curbside recyclable paper wrapper project. As the company works to ensure that all packaging is made to be recyclable by 2030, this industry-leading innovation represents a major step toward creating a recycle-ready wrapper for the bars category. KINDs experiment will use a curbside recyclable, How2Recycle pre-qualified paper type that is made of pulpable paper.
  • In May 2025, PepsiCo declared that it had revised its sustainable packaging goals in addition to other company-wide sustainability objectives. Among other adjustments, the business chose to revoke its reuse goals. The PepsiCo Positive (pep+) sustainability plan was introduced by the firm in September 2021, almost four years ago.

The project aligns with Live Nations worldwide sustainability arm, Green Nation, which establishes sustainability objectives for all Live Nation-owned and managed theatres, festivals, clubs, and events. Their main goals are to eliminate the utilization of single-use plastics and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases by 50% by 2030. All materials used must meet this on-going commitment by being recyclable, renewable, certified compostable, or, in the event that they cannot be avoided, composed of at least 30% recycled material.
  • July, 2023: Using PulPacs revolutionary Dry Molded Fiber technology, Matrix Pack announced the introduction of hot and cold drink lids as the first in a new range of sustainable foodservice packaging goods. Matrix Pack also revealed that it has joined forces with Curt G. JOA Inc. (JOA) to form an industrial collaboration and machine supply agreement.
