Sidel Packaging Solutions, a global equipment and service provider in the packaging of food, beverage, home, and personal care, announced that it will unveil a new packaging era by introducing laser technology alongside PET can and glass at Drinktec 2025 to be held in Munich, Germany, from September 15-19.

The event will give a first-hand experience to the visitors about the technologies and solutions that are created to address the current challenges in the personal care, food, and beverage packaging. It will also include the world’s first laser technology that will deliver quality, simplicity, and sustainability.

The CEO and president of Sidel, Pietro Cassani, said,

“We invite all visitors to join us for an unforgettable event where you can see and touch our latest technologies, and engage with the experts behind the designs. This is not merely a time of incremental change, but a key shift in the industry, with our laser innovation unlocking new possibilities and more. It is a time to harness our extensive knowledge to overcome the most crucial challenges today.”

The company is set to present sustainability and high-performance-based solutions, which are lightweight and use 100% recycled PET for partial labels, returnable lines, and PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation). Sidel will showcase how packaging can reduce material use and lower consumption costs. For example, bottle designs will be presented that showcase that lighter containers can be stronger than the heavier ones.

Sidel will also unveil the Next Line concept of PET and rPET that are designed for maximum performance with minimal resource use. The latest performance services of the company will also be presented, which include integrating packaging and digital expertise to make better use throughout the lifecycle.
