In June 2026, KFC decided to bring freshness to its menu, branding, packaging, and overall restaurant style. As the demand for chicken and its variety grows globally, the brand took the opportunity with lightning speed and aimed to deliver the highly demanded food in a more dynamic restaurant as per the latest consumer preferences.

“In an increasingly crowded category, we have a clear opportunity to set the standard for modern chicken in QSR,” said Scott Mezvinsky, CEO, KFC Global. “This next chapter brings new energy and expression to what makes us iconic, while doubling down on our chicken and reimagining how fans experience KFC around the world.”

The brand that is well-renowned for introducing fried chicken and its lucrative varieties to the world is introducing new ways now to allow its consumers to enjoy the original flavors of KFC through an expansion of boneless menu items built for dipping, dunking, and solo snacking, along with innovative sauce flavors for an unforgettable experience for the consumers. At the same time, the brand is also focusing on its beverage category to allow consumers to enjoy their beverages with pure indulgence, along with meeting the dynamic and modern restaurant design appeal. The packaging in the whole scenario also plays a major role in allowing consumers to enjoy their favorite options conveniently and seamlessly.

KFC Introduced Innovative Options

Dipped- Crispy, juicy tenders and an assortment of other favorite boneless options paired with sauces from KFC’s new global sauce “pantry” – a lineup of 20+ sauces ranging from modern takes on classic recipes to internationally-inspired yet familiar flavors. The innovation aims to tap into the consumer expectations of enhanced personalization and sensory flavor experiences.

Dunked- Tenders, wings, and sandwiches drenched in sauce for an immersive, flavor-first eating experience that brings bold flavor and craveability to every bite. Such items on the menu reflect the growing consumer demand for more indulgent and sauce-centered menu experiences.

KWENCH by KFC- A global beverage platform redefining KFC’s role in drinks - featuring Boba Refreshers, Krunch Shakes, Sparkling Lemonades, and Iced Coffees. The beverage menu designed by the brand ensures to meet the growing need for small, feel-good indulgences throughout the day. It is also a highly preferable option for consumers who wish to step into the store and, without purchasing any eatables, still don’t want to step outside of the store empty-handed.

KFC is well known for its range of attractive and delicious snacks and beverages, along with its highly preferred meal options as well. Each option provided by the brand ensures flavor exploration, personalization, and craveability, along with customizable options such as mix-and-match combinations, allowing consumers to relish their customizations.

Across the coming weeks in the UK and Ireland, KFC will roll out new Tenders and nine new, bold sauces alongside refreshed branding across the market’s communications and digital touchpoints, giving fans more freedom to mix, match, and personalize meals around their cravings, moods, and moments. In the coming weeks, the global rollout is expected to expand across Australia and the U.S., with additional markets following through 2026. The brand has also announced that it is prepared to open a new generation of spaces designed not just for efficiency but also for enhanced hospitality.

The newly launched brand spaces are a reflection of:

  • An open-concept design in McKinney, Texas, reinterpreting the brand’s heritage with modern energy, is expected to open late summer.
  • A fully immersive, two-story restaurant in Dubai, showcasing one of the boldest expressions of the brand’s next-generation design, opening in the fall.

Along with its major focus on rebranding, menu innovation, and marketing tactics to enhance its pool of customers, the brand is also keen on sharpening its visual appeal. The brand is evolving its most distinctive assets to feel more relevant, more expressive, and more in tune with modern culture, while staying true to itself and grounded in the Colonel and its iconic “Finger Lickin’ Good” ethos. At the center is the bucket - KFC’s most recognizable asset - refreshed with new energy alongside a subtle evolution of the Colonel himself, ensuring the brand’s legacy remains front and center. Together, the updated branding comes to life across packaging, digital platforms, advertising, and restaurant environments.
