Ravi Bihani Emphasizes Craftsmanship in Premium Box Production

In the current market scenario, what looks decent sells well. That’s why each engineering company across the world wages special consideration to packing. One such company is Swachh Packaging Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, a well-known name in superior-quality box packing, printing, and planning using state-of-the-art equipment. Apart from counterbalance printing, the corporation also employs advanced technologies, such as drip-off and velvet textures, to create modern, attractive packaging. Swachh Packaging manages end-to-end in-house manufacturing, from concept to completion.

The corporation is managed by Mr. Aditya Bothra and Mr. Ravi Bihani, both of whom studied printing and design to produce high-quality boxes. In a limited interface with Sugandh India, Mr. Ravi shared that Swachh Packaging produces boxes for most of Bengaluru’s top agarbatti brands, including Shashi, A Ravi Raag, AKP, Forest, Balaji, Topsi, Misbah, and Savitri. “We’ve been occupied with various such brands for years,” he expressed.

Mr. Ravi clarified that Swachh Packaging was recognized in 2017, when he was 27. “Our family has long been included in this trade, and we also run a complete offset printing setup in Indore. My family has been in this occupation for around 30 years,” he expressed.

He also stated that his family owns two engineering companies in Bengaluru, but he personally felt strained by the increasing demand in this field. “We don’t just make agarbatti boxes, we also produce packaging for confectionery products, garments, sweets, and spices. Around 30–40% of our manufacturing is connected to incense packaging,” he expressed.

“We generated by forming boxes for our own incense brands, Woodland and Jai Incense, in 2017.” He added, “Jai Perfumery, one of the eldest incense suppliers in Kolkata, is my father’s firm.”

“We make very focused boxes. Ordinary boxes are prepared by many, but our specialty lies in top-quality packaging. Metallic printing is our primary strength, with something very few printers in Bengaluru can provide. Out of around 500 agarbatti box printers, only about 10 have this technology. We’ve been doing metallic printing for 2 years now, and it gives the box an exclusive shine that stands out at any retail counter or showroom. That’s the charm of our packaging.”
