ACMI unveiled a labeler, Opera Omnia, engineered for seamless automation and the fastest cold glue, roll-fed, hot melt, merger, and self-adhesive applications. The opera Omnia is suitable for ‘complete redesign’ of the existing opera model, with the company promising to redesign the machine’s idiom ‘from the ground up’. This involves reducing its floor area requirements, facilitating installation, and providing seamless integration with the help of plug-and-play technology.
The new rollout potential has been designed especially for high-speed applications. It uses a ceramic-coated glue roller and rotary blade system aimed at providing accurate labeling and finishing applications. Its balancing panel aims to integrate interactivity and usage, executing intuitive menus seamlessly. The menus involve image-guided diagnostics, RGB LED visual signals, and customizable dashboards. The new HMI interface is introduced to fuel navigation and allow dashboard customization.
The system unifies AI for predictive diagnostics. The format changeovers can be operated automatically by capturing a picture of the label to the extent that suitable parameters match or can be implemented. The machine is said to alleviate maintenance and optimize energy consumption, which bolsters efficiency. The ACMDI calls its new solution ‘modular, universal, and highly flexible’, covering its target on accessibility, ergonomics, and adaptability to the production necessities.
The BU leader at ACMI labelling solutions, Gianluca Laurentini, said,
“The Opera Omnia is beyond machine, it’s a new robust industrial model that merges the comprehensiveness of the automotive idea with the moldable essential to the food and beverage market. With this innovative step, Omnia and ACMI technologies have uplifted their game in their existence as global leaders, providing solutions that foresee the production challenges of the future.”
With the heavy competition and development in the packaging market, certain company leaders are using their platforms to fuel growth in the packaging sector globally. For instance, the Ravenwood packaging revealed its ‘Nobac 40B bottle labeler’ a few months back. Earlier this year, Amazon also confirmed that it will operate automated machinery throughout its European operations. These initiatives have contributed sufficiently to the packaging solutions. Alongside, the ACMI’s innovation will foster development and introduce a new approach for both existing and new companies, encouraging them to practice automation and rely on their traditional processes. This will lead to success for their business, helping to attract engagements and ideal deals amid their efforts towards innovation.
