In the food industry, Coveris’ BarrierFresh MAP tray resolution for meat, fish, and poultry (MFP) decreases plastic content by 90% while preserving both shelf-life and recyclability. Joining a sustainably sourced board with a particularly advanced EVOH barrier film, the resolution offers a completely printable, hermetically sealed, single-SKU pack that preserves product authenticity and recyclability for the MFP type.

Also being showcased is MonoFlexBP, which is a whole solution comprising a thermoformable base network shared with a resealable lidding film for cheese and meat packaging. With a high oxygen barrier and PET/PA-free configuration, it offers exceptional product guard and can be resealed on PP trays multiple times, offering customer convenience without compromising sustainability. Another highlight is Coveris Ultra-Low SIT (sealing beginning temperature) CPP lamination films, a CPP solution patterned for high-speed FFS packaging across home, food, pet food, and body care goods.

Contribution optimised sealing strength at 85°C, it helps recyclability, offers superior sealing strength, and mechanical properties. The resolution is accessible in both transparent and white, with a width extending from 30 to 100 μm. Companies at FachPack 2025 will also offer MonoFlexFibre Pure Max, a monomaterial paper-based packing alternate for chocolate, cereal, protein bars, and tablets. In spite of being composed of a single layer of paper, it confirms high visual influence, strong barrier properties, and whole recyclability within prevailing paper streams.

Combined Security Packaging for End-to-end Supply Chain Safety

This year, Coveris will also show the industry-leading SourceTag variety, which now comprises both labels and cartons. This tamper-evident resolution incorporates covert security straight at the print source, rationalization operations by eradicating the requirement for in-store tagging or removal. Compatible with prevailing retail organization, SourceTag offers discreet defense, simplifies inventory administration, and supports whole supply chain safety from source to store. With three adjustable technologies, SourceTag improves both operational efficacy and product protection across the whole retail journey.
