Lacerta Group, LLC announced the launch of their new packaging solution, ‘Seal N Flip, which aims to enhance sustainability in packaging. The innovation also aims to help the food retailers and other brands reduce their costs by up to 50%. The new packaging design also makes a major change, breaking the traditional packaging standards by introducing the lidding film on the bottom. These changes are enhancing the appeal of the packaging to the consumers due to its product-forward display strategy.

The food packaging is mainly targeting these innovations, which are showcasing foods like wraps, hoagies, snacks, sandwiches, and other ready-to-eat foods. The brands are also aiming to invest in these packaging solutions, which help them in improving their merchandise visual appeal to the consumers, also providing additional benefits like tamper resistance, lower carbon footprints, and leak protection. The company’s innovation is also aiming to minimize material waste in various existing packaging processes.

Lacerta’s VP of Marketing, Craig Muldrew, said that grab-and-go shelf real estate in the refrigerator section is highly competitive, which leads to the innovation of Seal N Flip packaging that helps the brands to get a well-defined approach. He further added By using the stand to position products vertically to feature our unique back-facing lidding design, prepared foods are front and center, creating a standout, premium look that speaks to the way consumers shop - with their eyes first.”

The company’s commitment to sustainability is to offer consumers a clear pathway to achieve their sustainable goals by taking advantage of Lacerta’s design and manufacturing capabilities.
