‘Look Good Feel Better’ is an international charitable program that operates in countries such as Canada, Ireland, and the UK. It has a primary office in Washington, DC. The program initiates workshops for cancer patients to manage cosmetic side effects of treatment. This initiative helps several patients to heal physically and emotionally. The program has been working towards the betterment of health and emotional well-being. Most of the cosmetics don’t go well with the skin, especially with cancer patients. The program concentrates on teaching beauty techniques and hacks to cancer patients, suitable for their skin health. The online workshops and face-to-face group sessions normalize and let these cancer fighters make new friends and feel empowered. This promotes confidence and courage to rebuild their healthy, skin rejuvenating journey with beauty industry experts. The services are free of cost for cancer patients.
The new partnership with the perfume shop is a supportive contribution to the program. The perfume shop is selling its limited-edition beauty box online to raise funds. These funds are an encouragement for the individuals going through cancer treatment. With the new year, Look Good Feel Better has also discovered a new reason for the cancer patients' smiles. ‘The confident edit’ beauty box has been introduced along with its corporate partner. The perfume shop is ready to sell these beauty boxes, contributing to this program after two successful launches of the beauty box. The perfume shop continues to extend a hand the support of cancer patients. Other brand partners contributing to this program include Dr lipp, Rituals, OPI nails, and Shiseido. Further, the perfume shop beauty box consists of Dr lipp before N’ after cream 100ml, Shiseido wrinkle smoothing cream 30ml, Rituals the ritual of Sakura foaming shower gel 50ml, and Dr. Pawpaw hot pink lip balm.
Director of fundraising and communications of Look Good Feel Better, Ian Daniels, proudly shared its experience of the partnership with ‘The perfume shop’. In his statement, he said that the continued collaboration and their generosity are very precious for the program. Each penny goes in support of the cancer patients. ‘The confident edit’ is packed with valuable products, along with more customer engagement and interaction.
The managing director of the perfume shop, Gill Smith, says that they’re honored and overwhelmed to be part of this program for a third consecutive year. Additionally, the company said that they believe in the power of beauty, especially perfume, for the confidence and empowerment of individuals. The beauty products can be transformative or a shift in an individual's life, and a celebration of self-identity to lost times. This initiative has brought various favorite brands together, making a positive impact and difference to cancer fighters.
