Origin and Berlin Packaging Enter a Partnership for Sustainable PET Bottle Caps

Origin Materials Inc., a company focused on creating sustainable materials, has announced a strategic partnership with Berlin Packaging, the leading supplier of sustainable PET caps. The agreement includes the purchase of PET 1881 caps from Origin, which will be used for selling and distributing to their consumer base. The majority of the company’s consumers include the leading beverage companies in the world.

The PET caps are a crucial factor that represents a technological breakthrough in the packaging, as they have lightweight and mono-material containers that help in improving the recyclability. These caps can be made with 100% post-consumer recycled PET and also used in other food-grade applications.

THE CEO of Origin Materials, John Bisell, said that their first connection with Berlin Packaging reflected strong potential and vision.
