Tetra Pak is a global food processing and packaging leader, announced the launch of the new customer innovation center (CIC) in Bangkok, Thailand. This will enable to evolution of Philippine food and beverage companies, most probably the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This will provide accessibility to end-to-end product development, contributing to the innovation and enhancement of competitiveness.
The event took place on the 14th May 2025, in the presence of industry stakeholders and esteemed guests. Along with Tetra Pak’s partners and customers, Mr. Per Linner, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Sweden, the Thai Swedish Chamber of Commerce, and senior representatives from the business community witnessed the launch.
The launch of the CIC is expected to leverage innovative performance and encourage local brands to develop new products in collaboration. It will also contribute to the testing of sustainable packaging solutions, allowing for cross-checking of the concept regionally without any capital investment in in-house R&D. The center consists of consumer trend analytics, prototyping facilities, and creative workspace. The innovative space for customers to get insightful knowledge with the help of creative solutions and ideas. This allows them to open up for growth opportunities. The center also reveals a modular packaging design lab. The CIC Bangkok will fasten testing and provide quick validation for packaging. This eliminates the constraints of intricate, regulatory-compliant packaging.
