Reliance MET City, which is one of India’s fastest-growing united smart cities, announced the initiation of BEUMER Group’s new state-of-the-art factory at MET City, Sector-5, Dadri Toe, Jhajjar.
BEUMER Group is a worldwide leader in intralogistics, conveying, loading, palletizing, packaging, sorting, and supply technologies, active in sectors such as Cement, Minerals and Mining, Airport Passenger Terminal Baggage Systems, automation of Courier Express Parcel Centers, and Warehousing and Distribution Centers. BEUMER has selected MET City as its preferred destination for expanding its production footprint in India. The newly launched facility reinforces MET City’s position as a leading hub for progressive engineering and worldwide enterprises.
Speaking at the event, Sh. Shrivallabh Goyal, Chief Executive Officer, Reliance MET City, expressed, “We are pleased to welcome BEUMER Group to MET City’s world-class industrial ecosystem. Their decision to launch a cutting-edge production service here reflects the confidence that global companies place in MET City’s superior infrastructure, strategic location, and investor-friendly environment. This milestone further fortifies our vision of building India’s most progressive and sustainable manufacturing township.”
Reflecting on this milestone, Mr. Nitin Vyas, CEO of BEUMER Group Cluster ASIA, expressed, “BEUMER has always been endlessly investing in India. In 2011, we took a primary step by obtaining an Indian SME. We then opened a modern office of 4,228 square meters in Gurgaon in 2023. Today, we rejoice in yet another milestone, the launch of this state-of-the-art factory, built on a 42,508 sqm plot at Reliance MET City. When we had to reposition from our existing factory area, we narrowed it down to Reliance MET City, a fast-emerging Industrial Hub in North India, which enables global companies to set up in a true sense of ‘Plug and Play’.
This factory is not just for India; it will support BEUMER customers worldwide, offering the BEUMER quality that we are known for. From recognizing the land to this grand opening, we accomplished this project in just 15 months, a remarkable attainment. Converting this Vision of BEUMER into Reality would not have been conceivable without the team at Reliance MET City under the leadership of Mr. S.V. Goyal.”
