Dundee, a UK-based leading packaging firm, after proving its innovation in the packaging sector, has now announced its expansion into a neighboring warehouse. This robust landmark strategy will double the footprint, operation, and additional initiative in its Ferrari packaging. After almost covering and gaining recognition in different cities for over 12 years, Ferrari Packaging established its unit on Kilspindie Road that recently emptied due to the exit of one of the businesses.
With this extension of the warehouse, the company is bolstering its presence and stepping into the former Texora premises to build a 25,000 sq ft site. Dundee is now the largest of the company’s three Scottish branches, which delivers industrial packaging products.
Above £70,000 was invested in refurbishing the unit, which enabled the company to accelerate its product range. The sales director at Dundee, Lesley Bell, said, “This investment was done keeping customers in mind. We’re expanding the warehouses of many other businesses in various ways. There comes a hurdle with holding stock and businesses, yet still, there’s a place for scaling up and growth in itself.”
“They are well aware that we have an infinite number of stocks and we can deliver them to them very quickly. This investment reflects the robust growth in Dundee. To be able to hold a wide range of products has built keeping customers in mind.”
Dundee’s Ferrari Packaging is a master in materials used for pallets on the courier engaged- pallets, labels, pallet wrap, tape, boxes, etc. Recently, it has seven staff members working from Dundee, which delivers Fife, Aberdeenshire, and Tayside. The Dundee-based Dunsinane Industrial Estate branch has experienced around 7% growth rapidly over the years.
With this growth, this branch intends to integrate another driver and vehicle to strengthen its capacity to cover more area. The company’s brilliant business strategy not only strengthens its recognition within Scotland but also in the vast packaging sector.
Lesley said, “Our main strategy at first place has always been about delivering remarkable services to the local businesses. Most of the packaging companies must have one branch to cover almost the whole of Scotland, and here we have three. Because of this expansion, the market doesn’t face failure. If one is dropping, another tends to arouse. We follow the trends closely, and it helps us maintain our position in the market.”
