Over the past year, Fenton Packaging Solutions has embarked on a significant digital transformation journey, supported by an investment of nearly £250,000. This strategic initiative has focused on modernizing systems, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening the company’s ability to serve customers more effectively. 

“The focus was simple: make the organization faster, more accurate, smarter, and future proof,” expresses General Manager Ryan Banks. “The change to a current cloud-based ERP has fully changed how the business functions. 

“The investment comprises the application of Access ERP, integration with Salesforce, the overview of Asset Hub, and a full upgrade of warehouse processes through hand-held scanning and real-time tracking. Together, these schemes replace an ageing on-idea platform and manual, paper-based procedures with a fully integrated, cloud-based infrastructure. 

“Feasibly, the biggest gain is time back for the commercial itself,” Ryan adds. “Teams now spend far less time shifting paper and integrating data and far more time vending, planning, helping consumers, and adding value. 

“A salesperson can now sit with a purchaser and see live stock levels, pricing, order history, and even pick an order there and then significant it will be in the loading bay within hours, rather than a day later. Warehouse team reads every pallet, every program, every scan. Consumer service staff no longer chase data through emails or paper trails; everything they require is in one place, and with AI rationalization admin, teams have hours each week refunded to them to emphasize what matters: consumers.
