Sustainability in Focus Regenerative Packaging Shines at MD&M West

Veritiv is a popular B2B distributor covering Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. region with its robust print products, facility solutions, and custom packaging. The company operates from its 125 distribution centers. It’s a powerful company with huge support from logistics scale, involving 650 trucks in its operational space. Veritiv pays attention to supply chain management and sustainability, alongside automation, which is the strength of the company.

The current chief marketing and design officer at Veritiv, Chris Bradley, has prepared a comprehensive packaging framework in favor of the environment. This framework will come into the limelight with more clarification at the MD&M West event. This event will be at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, on February 3-5, 2026. There will be different knowledgeable sessions, of which the first day's first session for ‘Regenerative Packaging: Moving Beyond Sustainability to Circularity’ will cover Bradley’s points.

The Sustainable Manufacturing Conference is the basis of this session. For two days, MD&M West will witness ideas, development, and innovation in sustainable packaging. This holistic contribution and a view energize many packaging enthusiasts to move mountains to fill the gap of uncertainty and danger causing due to hazardous packaging.

Bradley has the open ground to point out, revise, and present the required framework to sustain in the sustainable packaging market. He added, “Many of the packaging enthusiast understands the importance of sustainability, but very few are confident enough to take a step ahead in the sustainable packaging sector. The regulations, claims, and new materials are emerging. This session is held to excel in these emerging areas.”

At our Veritiv, we tend to capture regenerative packaging in practicing space and focus on what is evolving, trending, and how to assess alternatives without disturbing the supply chain or operations. The main goal of this session is to provide a framework and a sense of clarity that the hesitant minds can use, rather than just getting inspired.”

Further, Bradley explained its valuable principles of regenerative packaging, spotting the uniqueness, as the idea of harmless packaging needs some space to confront the innovation. The regenerative packaging is dug deep in circular design, systems, renewable sourcing, and real-world end-of-life pathways covering the whole packaging lifecycle in one sustainable breath.

It’s not about checking and choosing the perfect material, but it's about designing packaging that is valid and complements performance, recovery, infrastructure, and sourcing. It’s about the right system rather than a product-by-product decision.”
