The SalzburgMilch, an Austria-based dairy company known for its premium products such as plant-based alternatives, cheese, and milk, is now the first-ever company in Europe to sell dairy products in SIG’s DomeMini carton bottle format. The DomeMini design is an intelligent solution mainly for mobile dairy consumption.
This solution paves the way for private-label and co-packing opportunities for retailers and brands. The company, located in central Europe, primarily contributes to distribution and logistics. The new robust packaging will be on European retail shelves by mid next year.
The CEO of SalzburgMilch, Andreas Gasteiger, said,

This new packaging is engineered for UHT products, including protein beverages, meal replacements, plant-based drinks, and specialty milk. The SIG DomeMini is available in seven sizes, ranging from 180ml to 350ml. This SIG DomeMini 12 Aseptic filling machine can handle around 12,000 packs per hour, with its potential to fluctuate volumes in 15 minutes. The packaging's closure is convenient, enabling consumers to store, reclose, and open it seamlessly.
The key account manager at SIG Austria and Switzerland, Nino Schmid, said,

This new packaging will travel globally to the vast packaging market. Additionally, the company is also involved in contract-filling production and a private-label plant-based alternative. SalzburgMilch will transform its marketing capabilities and further flourish with its new packaging portfolio. This SIG DomeMini is a new addition to the company’s packaging pipeline, paving the way for advancement and development in the advanced packaging sector.
