Alpro, a plant-based food brand, announced its partnership with Appetite Creative, a connected packaging leader, to launch a new connected experience to educate consumers about the nutritional benefits of Alpro.

The new launch is a web app-based connected experience that uses on-pack QR codes with a video game-style packaging. The Alpro Kids is a currently launched range that includes oat-based drinks available in flavors like strawberry and chocolate. The products have less than 30% sugar content than other kid products.

Gianluca Cilinto, the Brand Manager of Alpro Europe, said,

“The new Alpro Kids range is more than just a product – it’s a step toward empowering families to make healthier choices without compromising on taste or joy. This is reflected in the fun connected experience accompanying this new range.” He further expressed his hopes that the packaging will entertain kids of all ages, while helping them to convey the nutritional benefits of the plant-based foods. He also praised Appetite Creative for making the process seamless

The Managing Director of Appetite Creative, Jenny Stanley, also said that the company was always eager to introduce new and creative packaging experiences for consumers. The director said that. “I’m confident Miss Berry, Oatsy, and Soystorm will take the plant-based world by storm! Who wouldn’t want to be a cute food-based superhero?”

The web application is helping to track real-time interactions like product preferences, engagement time, scan rate, page views, purchasing habits of the users, and many more. Moreover, the GDPR-compliant personal data is also expected to help the brand make more calculated decisions

The new packaging experience will commence during the English summer in multiple countries like Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and the Czech Republic.
