Flair Packaging, a leading flexible packaging solutions company, has announced the expansion of its manufacturing capability in Canada through the integration of new laminators and presses at the Calgary, Alberta, plant. The expansion also includes the acquisition of a second facility in the city that adds an operational space of around 35,000ft².
The company said that the move is the first in a series of expansions of the Canadian manufacturing platform. The new installations at Flair Packaging’s Alberta plant include a ten-color flexographic press and a solventless laminator.
Flair president and owner Young So said,

The inclusion is expected to help the company improve its ability to offer specialty packaging solutions like barrier, thickness, and other required performance.
The Canadian expansion of the company is also being applauded in the North American market, as it provides a wide display of materials. They are available for lidding, thermoforming applications, form-fill-seal, and many more.
