McCain Foods, a Canadian-based multinational frozen food company, has introduced new packaging and brand identity in India. Portraying their commitment towards responsible sourcing. The announcement was made in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where the operations have already begun.
‘Rooted in Real’ is the theme of the new brand identity that underscores the company’s sustainable collaboration and regenerative farming. The visual identity also includes a contemporary logo that reflects the essence of the farm-to-family journey, which is inspired by rolling hills and warmth.
The managing director of McCain Foods, India, Mainak Dhar, said,
“We are proud to introduce our new visual identity that honours our heritage, embraces the future, and reaffirms the values that have always defined us – real food, real people, and real purpose.”
The company’s packaging changes aim to enhance the shelf appeal of their products, which states freshness as a major appeal to consumers. The company is mainly focused on changing the consumer preferences for frozen foods to natural and fresh quality products.
The Director also mentioned that the transformation is deeply focused on the pride of the farmers who work on the production of the ingredients, and the other team that helps in other processes.
He mentioned that “Our new packaging is designed to inspire trust and excitement, and the ‘Rooted in Real’ platform is a steadfast promise – to remain true to the quality of our ingredients, the authenticity of our flavours, and the meaningful connections we foster every day.”
The event held in Gujarat showcased McCain’s motive to promote regenerative farming practices in the country and preserve biodiversity, support climate-resilient agriculture, and improve soil health.
