German family business When Nino Meets Lella (Ninella), based in Munich, has selected Quadpacks Regula Airless dispensers for its new plant oil-infused skincare range. The airless packaging helps protect the natural creams from external contamination, ensuring product purity. By choosing a local supplier, Ninella benefits from packaging that is made, tested, and decorated entirely in Germany. Quadpack supported the start-up throughout the process, providing expert guidance on packaging options to align with the brands values.
The brands story is rooted in the joyful bond between a boy and his grandmother. Liselotte Sartori, affectionately known as Lella, founded Switzerlands first beauty farm in Locarno on Lake Maggiore in the 1960s, where she crafted skincare creams using natural ingredients. Her life took a turn when Nino Waldschmidt entered the picture, and the two formed a close relationship. Today, Nino and his parents, Pamela and Thomas, have continued Lellas legacy by founding the company to preserve her knowledge and values.
Ninella deliberately avoided using glass jars because of their high carbon footprint and the energy-intensive processes involved in their production, transportation, and recycling. Under Quadpacks guidance, it chose the 30ml Regula Airless for its day cream, a hyaluronic fluid. Made from recyclable plastics like PET and PP, featuring a metal-free pump, this container is manufactured locally at the Quadpack Kierspe facility. Airless technology helps preserve natural formulas, while a high compensation rate minimizes waste. Great care was taken with the design. The brands classic style showcases gold lettering on a black background, finished with soft-touch lacquering for a smooth touch.
“It was an extremely positive experience from start to finish. As a startup, weve often found ourselves being minimized and described as just another customer. That wasnt the case with Quadpack. They allowed us to run a relatively small test and supported us right from the beginning. We felt that they genuinely cared about us and our products,” said Nino Waldschmidt. He says the packaging has been well established since the launch in May 2025: “The feedback on the airless dispensers has been consistently positive. Consumers and retailers are amazed by their efficiency and design, and they have already opened many doors for us.”
