Nithya Packaging Invests in Robus’s Die-Cutting Solution

Nithya Packaging, a leading paper supplier and packaging company based in Pondicherry, India, has announced the investment in a Dauyan BHT-1650FC die-cutting machine from Robus. The machine is fully automated, which helps in catering packaging requirements of Nithya.

The company has a team of over 500 skilled professionals, which makes it the best kraft paper mill in the Union Territory. The company also works in manufacturing corrugated boxes, board, and printed cartons apart from paper manufacturing.

The Director of Nithya Packaging, Vijay Raman, said that our packaging unit has some essential machines that play a crucial role in maintaining quality and productivity.

He added, “Among the key machines in our packaging unit is a die-cutting system from Robus India Dayuan BHT-1650FC. This fully automated ‘Excellence Series’ die-cutter is designed and ideally engineered for high speed and precise cutting of diverse materials, including cardboards, corrugated papers, etc.”

He also believes that the system can handle demanding requirements in quality packaging, graphics, and print requirements.

Dayuan BHT-1650FC is capable of handling a sheet size of 1,650x1,200 mm, where the maximum die-cutting size is 1,630x1,180 mm. The new machine from Robus India is a perfect fit for fast production, which gives accurate sheet registration and precise cutting with even adjustments available.

Raman said,

“Compared to other die-cutting systems in its class, this versatile and capable Excellence Series, Dayuan BHT-1650FC is fully packed with unconventional features like a high torque pneumatic clutch for positive clutching and a special air inlet system to control air volume for smooth start and stop of the machine.”

He also mentioned that the Robus product is one of the best machines they have owned with such capabilities. He concluded by emphasizing the team efforts that focus on constant innovations.
