Toly, a known premium cosmetic packaging innovator, and Eastman, a leading company in molecular recycling technologies, together have introduced Gemini, a versatile new compact that will symbolize a prominent milestone in their ongoing partnership projects. The Gemini is the worlds first ever compact to be launched with Eastmans Cristal One Renew IM812. This impressive resin demonstrates luxury cosmetics packaging by merging recyclable and recycled materials without compromising on excellence and elegance. The partnership aims to drive innovation and accelerate a new era in packaging.

The chief technical and sustainability officer at Toly, Olaf Zahra, said,

The excellent features include glass-like clarity, compatibility, and recyclability. The access to glass-like clarity, especially for the thick-wall PET compact that allows luxurious designs to feature without compromising the glass or transparency quality. The full-fledged compatibility assurance with the existing PET recycling streams certified by the known organizations involves APR, Recyclass, and EPBP. The feature offers 100% certified recycled content via molecular recycling, assuring an effective reduction in the environmental impact.
