MM Packaging Leeuwarden, with its 52 workforces, works as a standalone producer for European markets to provide quality folding cartons. Alongside, the company sincerely manages its whole operations, including its existing powerful team and customer engagements.
Grenadier Packaging buys MM Packaging Leeuwarden from Mayr-Melnhof Karton (MM). The acquisition legally took place on 31st December 2025. This confirmation brings more force, space, and growth for MM Packaging under Grenadier Packaging’s ownership. MM will continue with its excellent work as a standalone from its same Netherlands site.
The operations will thereby stay concentrated on long-standing investment, continuity, and balance of services, product quality, and supply. MM will continue to perform and consider their customer engagement and product portfolio with no such changes as of now in the company’s existing structure.
The Leeuwarden facility’s workforce, involving every employee, will be transferred as a transaction part. This brings job security to the MM’s employees and a chance to work in different work settings among various creative minds, encouraging new resources to bring their skills to the Grenadier’s table. Further, Grenadier Packaging will work closely with customers, suppliers, council representatives, and employees throughout the transaction duration to get clarity and become familiar with the new environment.
