Huhtamaki and Hesburger are consolidating their long-established collaboration through the growth of new fiber lids, planned in close partnership to help implementation and sustainability in common foodservice usages.
Hesburger has introduced their changeover to modified Huhtamaki-produced fiber lids planned for both cold and hot beverages. This landmark shows a promise of invention, functionality, and more maintainable packaging options.
Manufactured from renewable, plant-grounded fibers, the lids are produced in our Huhtamaki Foodservice site in Alf, Germany. The plan has been sensibly enhanced to offer a superior user experience through a variety of beverage varieties. Whether utilized for cold or hot drinks, the lids confirm a contented drinking practice and trustworthy functionality in everyday utilization.
Beyond performing, sustainability has become a major influencer in the growth process. The fiber lids are recyclable, compostable, and include no plastic films. By this modification from plastic to fiber lids, Hesburger is capable to decrease across 41 000 kg of plastic each year.

Both sectors will have their individual presidents, who will be part of the Global Executive Team. Sara Engber (56) has been assigned President, Fiber Packaging, and delegate of the Global Executive Team at Huhtamaki. Fredrik Davidsson will maintain as an associate of the Global Executive Team as President, Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania.
