Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) is a provider of sustainable packaging options. The company is set to make its debut at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2026, representing inventions that support food-service businesses in fulfilling recyclability goals without compromising on presentation.
Taking place in February at NEC Birmingham, Klöckner will be in the FPA Food Service zone, at stand H72, showing its latest food-to-go packaging and catering film options.
Visitors will search Klöckner Infinity, a breakthrough expanded polypropylene (EPP) food-to-go packaging solution, planned to replace banned polystyrene single-use food-service packaging. Klöckner Infinity preserves hot food up to 10°C warmer than substitutes, while remaining cool to the touch. This invention shows a major step forward for the food-service industry, joining recyclability with excellent thermal performance, the company expressed.
Complementing Klöckner Infinity, Klöckner will also be representing its Klöckner FlexiStretch catering film variety, engineered to support professional kitchens in decreasing food waste while preserving hygiene and efficacy. The portfolio comprises both PVC and recyclable PO options, each planned for easy handling and excellent performance, utilizing the thinnest gauge possible to decrease plastic use, without sacrificing strength.
