Mespack, a producer of flexible and turnkey packaging options, has announced that the HKE Series is a horizontal platform planned for high-speed pouch packing in both pre-made and roll-stock formations. At the center of the HKE Series is an automatically manipulated, perpendicularly arranged carousel process, which the company expresses is engineered to control and supervise each pouch through the complete manufacturing cycle. According to Mespack, this design allows enhanced speed while maintaining accuracy, seal feature, and product quality.
The HKE Series is created for uninterrupted roll-stock manufacture. Its upright electronic carrousel directs with asynchronous proposal and, the company maintains, offers consistent pouch arranging across duplex, triplex, and quadruplex formations. Depending on the machinery setup, the programme is expressed to get up to 225 pouches per minute (ppm) in pre-made (HKE SC) patterns and is able to reach 240 ppm in roll-stock. Unified electrical cabinets and an enhanced station layout influence a decreased machinery footprint.
The HKE Series is designed to help with fast, repeatable alterations through automated alterations via the HMI and Mespack’s Athena software platform. Parameters, comprising pouch breadth, transportation settings, and minimize and stretch modifications, can be improved with minimal operative input. Pre-made (HKE SC) outlines achieve alterations in as little as five minutes, whereas roll-stock designs allow design adjustments in around 20 minutes.
Accessible in roll-stock, pre-made pocket (HKE SC), or merged conformations, the HKE Series is intended to adjust a limit of pouch designs and product keys, involving liquids, powders, granules, pods, and solids. The platform helps recyclable-ready resources, hygienic strategy, and washdown preferences. It is also corresponding with smart process-control opportunities, such as smart digital sealing and inline thermographic inspection processes for real-time seal integration monitoring.
Developed around Mespack’s Athena digital system, the HKE Series involves recipe administration, data observing, remote support, and protection maintenance expertise.
