Ravenwood Brings Linerless Label Technology to Apple Packaging in the UK 

Straight from the nearby grocery stores to the Ravenwood Packaging, the success of the recent linerless packaging in fresh produce is being echoed. In collaboration with its qualified Proprint Group, along with its impressive linerless label printer, the fruit lid for Kissabel Naturally Red-Fleshed Apples has been introduced. The new packaging is created on the Com500 Coater and is executed with the high-speed Nobac 5000L Fresh Produce Linerless Applicator.

This brand new commendable linerless development represents as a first ever fresh produce in the UKs history to witness the best of the success with an inspiring story. The linerless apple format is 3*2 for six pack, regarding the former 2*2 Sassy pack thats supplied by the owners of the Kissabel brand, Mansfield.

Kissabel Rouge entered the UK retail sector on 2nd December in a package of plastic-free linerless that mirrors the fruits premium and attractive appeal. Kissabel is famous for its natural red flesh, berry-inspired flavor, and intense red skin. To match the brief, the packaging solution had to serve fully recyclable materials, a comprehensive on-self standout, a bold and unique design linked with the Kissable identity, and a reliable, speedy application.

ProPrint Group partnered with the strong and smart Smurfit Westrock and Kissabel design team to create a comprehensive cartonboard tray format and linerless fruit lid. This idea evolved from the existing successful launch of the 4-pack to the newest upgraded 6-pack configuration. Each of the materials is verge-edge recyclable to contribute best to the retailers sustainability goals.

The heart of this project is Ravenwoods Nobac 5000L fresh produce linerless applicator. The applicator is designed for appropriate, efficient application of the self-adhesive fruit lids. Regarding this launch, the two precise trials were organized at Ravenwood within no time, gaining a refine setup-important for this seasonal product. As per the trial, the first production was served seven working days after the artwork qualification. The Nobac 5000L served high-speed performance, consistency in accurate label placement, quick, trustworthy setup for rapid turnaround, and low waste due to the linerless format.
