Tjoapack Expands Bottle Packaging Capabilities at Its Netherlands Facility

Tjoapack has added a new bottle packing line at its Etten-Leur facility in the Netherlands. The upgraded Cremer Uhlmann IBC 50 line increases speed, flexibility, and packaging options for oral solid dosage medicines, helping the company meet growing market demand.

Tjoapack Scales Up Bottle Packaging Capabilities at Netherlands Plant 

Contract packaging association, Tjoapack, announced that it is adding an oral solid dosage bottle packing line to its Etten-Leur facility in the Netherlands. The new line will modernize operations and upsurge a range of arrangements and presentation options, and will offer the capability to switch between different packing configurations on one line. 

The new Cremer Uhlmann IBC 50 line mechanizes bottle packaging for any shape of bottle and can fill up to 50 bottles per minute. The line is good manufacturing practice (GMP) yielding and bids flexibility for bottles to be packed into cartons composed with a leaflet or booklet and draped in plastic using a shrink tunnel. 

As per the company, the venture is in response to development in the pharmaceutical bottle packing market, demand for oral solid dosage drugs, and needs for flexible, compliant packaging options. The company has been capitalizing on set-up and technology to reinforce its service competencies, comprising expansion of its cold chain and injectable packaging abilities across the United States and the Netherlands.
