Royal Swinkels and its leading packaging partner, Canpack, have strengthened their collaboration with the launch of the new 2025 8.6 Tattoo limited edition. For both companies, this year marks a moment of reflection that sets the stage for future ambitions. The year-end surprise, the 2025 edition of the 8.6 Original 50 cl can, showcases artwork created by tattoo enthusiast Dodie.
The artwork mirrors the recognition of the 8.6 brand and its making with the help of Canpack’s Quadromix printing technology is a boon to the brand's appealing appearance with such promising precision.
Canpack’s Quadromix printing technology allows four different designs to be printed in one go under the production process. It also enables design variety while managing production efficiency. Canpack states that this new initiative comprises premium quality matt finishes. These advanced finishes improve the visual impact and intensity of the artwork. The constant interaction between Canpack and Royal Swinkels promises that the innovative concept was precisely recreated on the can, giving it an artistic touch with the modern printing potential.
The global brand manager at Royal Swinkels, Afel Amberber, said, “The implementation is an impeccable reflection of the partnership between Canpack and Royal Swinkels with the creative, precision, and convincing technology that gets everything aligned in a distinctive and attractive package.”
The Tattoo Limited Edition 2025 stands on the success of the existing announcements in the series. Those series helped to power up the brand presence via distinctive visual storytelling. Canpack claims that Quadromix technology helps this kind of limited-edition idea by enabling various designs without any disturbance to the production process.
The partnership between these two strong companies has marked their position in the industry, earning the recognition tag. The previous editions of the 8.6 Tattoo series received an award for the most promising High-Volume Food & Beverage Metal Pack of the year at the UK Packaging Awards 2025. The award spotlights the impact of the collaboration within the packaging market.
The graphics innovation manager, Canpack, Pawel Kawa, said, “Our long-term partnership with Royal Swinkels stands tall on mutual and similar ambition and trust. The designs are Swinkel’s innovation, and our responsibility is to make them shine with the robust technologies such as Quadromix to turn unique ideas into an award-winning packaging.”
