Summit Expands Manufacturing Footprint with New Toluca Aerosol Plant

Summit Packaging Systems has officially inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Toluca, Mexico. This strategic expansion reflects the company ongoing commitment to strengthening and localizing its global supply chain, enabling it to better serve regional customers with improved efficiency and faster delivery times. By investing in advanced production capabilities at this facility, Summit aims to enhance its manufacturing flexibility, support growing demand for its packaging solutions, and reinforce its position as a leading global provider in the industry.

The newly established 3,500-square-meter facility, which became operational on August 7, 2025, is equipped with two state-of-the-art high-speed regulator assembly lines. These lines are designed to deliver an impressive production capacity of approximately 250 million units per year, based on a standard five-day workweek. To ensure smooth operations and maintain the companys high standards, a dedicated team of 15 production workers and seven administrative staff has been carefully trained through Summit global network. This comprehensive training program guarantees consistent quality, operational efficiency, and reliable service, specifically tailored to meet the demands of the Mexican market.

The Toluca facility represents a crucial step in Summit vertical integration plan, mainly supported by machinery from its global headquarters, with intentions to grow local manufacturing gradually. This strategy aims to improve supply chain flexibility, lower costs, and reduce disruptions, aligning with the companys focus on satisfying increasing customer demands.

The site also shows Summit dedication to supporting local businesses by providing responsive and flexible solutions for the domestic aerosol market. Operating under strict ISO and BRC quality standards, Toluca is the companys eighth manufacturing facility worldwide, joining a network of over 1,000 employees working across more than 100,000 square meters of production space. Arturo Morales has been appointed General Manager of the Toluca plant, bringing 23 years of experience in production, quality, and manufacturing at Crown Beverage.
