Bhutan Agro Industries Limited (BAIL), responding to strong consumer demand for improved quality and convenience, has introduced a new packaging evolution. The updated packaging features modern, easy-to-open aluminium cans, becoming a highlight of the company’s flagship "Royal Bhutan" beverage line.
To roll out the packaging evolution, the company is shifting its product from traditional tinplate to investing heavily in product quality, sustainable innovation, and consumer satisfaction. The new aluminium packaging responds to growing demand while honoring longstanding consumer preferences. According to the company, it meets these preferences by providing improved portability, appealing design, and better product preservation.
Not only this, but the endless consumer's apprehension about defending the beverage freshness is also represented by the company by making use of aluminum’s major feature, which is lightweight cans, which is making it easier to transit and chill faster by executing an advanced pattern.
A spokesperson from BAIL expressed, "This progress shows our core mission, to listen and respond to our customers and community. The new aluminum can is the consequence of years of feedback and shows our continuing promise to raise the ‘Royal Bhutan’ experience from our FSSC-certified service in Lingmethang directly to our customers.”
The inventiveness supports and quickly brought into line with Bhutan's national standards and the strong ecological commitment. This has been made possible due to aluminum’s infinite recyclability feature, deploying "Royal Bhutan" at the front line of sustainable packaging. Not only this, but the usage of aluminum in the company’s packaging technique also helps achieve and preserve a circular economy, which is directly linked with the country's Gross National Happiness principles.
With the presentation of the changed packaging, the company makes sure that it is devoted to sourcing and processing the resource from the domestic realm. The company also sources fresh fruits, such as mangoes, apples, oranges, pineapples, and passion fruits, which are obtained directly from local farmers and treated at its internationally certified Lingmethang facility. This method of packing right at the source not only retains the products fresh but also fuels the local agricultural value chain.
Building on its robust export presence in India and Bangladesh, the packing company is looking for even wider regional extension, representing the quality of Bhutanese products on the worldwide stage. The launch of aluminum cans is an important step forward for the brand, combining modern convenience with a steadfast dedication to local flavors and community support.
