Concept4, a Hong Kong-based beauty packaging company, has announced the Mix & Fix foundation tube in association with Vessl, a U.S.-based packaging company. The option structures a cartridge that combines two shades of foundation, allowing customers to customize the product to their skin tone. The tube uses Vessl’s patented partying technology, a reusable system with two interchangeable cartridges, which are combined into a dial apparatus that pumps and merges the two foundation shades.
“Mix & Fix proves that a patented, waterproof innovation doesn’t have to be complicated. We’ve developed a system that is simple for consumers to use, scalable for brands to implement, and sustainable for the planet,” said Courtney Haley, Business Development Manager and Lead Packaging Expert at Concept4.
The personal care packaging company will display the solution at Paris Packaging Week, February 5–6. Mix & Fix abbreviates 60 foundation shades into 20, rationalization production, and record. Furthermore, the refillable cartridge plan can decrease packaging waste. Concept4 clarifies that Mix & Fix addresses two of the beauty industry’s present challenges: inclusivity and sustainability. The resolution permits customers to generate their own shade of foundation, providing flexibility, while the reusable design can decrease environmental impact.
“This patented organization is instinctive and universally adjustable, making it informal for any makeup brand to participate in their product selection without surrendering identity or aesthetics.” Refillable arrangements are progressively popular as customers value sustainable and pollution-dropping solutions. Lately, Act Beauty, a France-based beauty and luxury packaging company, advanced an on-the-go, refillable, perfume spray bottle in response to “developing nomadic beauty followers.”
Meanwhile, beauty packaging producer Quadpack fortified Marini SkinSolutions with reusable technology and finest bottles and tubes for its rebranded skin care variety. Over 50 products are packed in completely recyclable and partly recycled resources. Concept4’s device involves two removable cartridges. The top portion grasps the darker foundation, and the bottom one the lighter description. A dial permits the amount of goods to be adjusted; customers can mix shades and alter the dial each time they pump out goods until they hit on the accurate shade. Beyond foundation, Vessl’s technology that retains active ingredients discrete from the rest of the formulation, could also have claims in hair colorants, beauty drinks, or room fragrance sprays.
