Originally launched in 2025, the ERA system targeted facial and sun care products with 30mm and 40mm tube options, providing precision dispensing and enhanced product protection.
With this expansion, the ERA line now seamlessly integrates with Silgan’s DNA airless systems, enabling brands to combine the benefits of airless technology, such as extended shelf life, reduced product waste, and improved hygiene, with the proven performance of ERA dispensers. This move allows manufacturers to address a wider range of packaging needs across different product types while maintaining consistency and high-quality consumer experiences.
Silgan Dispensing has enhanced its ERA dispensing platform with the launch of the DNA 35ERA, specifically designed for products like facial serums and creams, and available in 30ml, 40ml, and 50ml formats. The company highlighted that this new range meets emerging regulatory requirements and emphasizes features such as controlled actuation, precise dosing, broad formulation compatibility, and airless protection to maintain product integrity.
The ERA airless system achieves a formula evacuation rate of over 95%, helping to minimize product residue and reduce packaging waste. In addition, Silgan has adapted the ERA platform for smaller-capacity cosmetic tubes with 25mm and 30mm diameters, targeting products such as liquid makeup and specialized treatments, thereby expanding options for precision dispensing across a wider variety of skincare and cosmetic products.
