ElitePlus ++ Business Services has announced to host the world’s largest flexible packaging and specialty films summit at Reliance Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai.

The event is backed by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) and the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, which will bring together around 2,200 delegates from 23 different countries under one roof. The delegates will include senior players from rigid and flexible packaging, technology providers, AI and automation specialists, policymakers, raw material suppliers, and brand owners.

The company stated that the record on August 18 reported that around 1800 delegates from organizations have confirmed their participation in the summit. Players from companies like Godrej Industries, Reliance Consumer Products, Amul, Marico, and many more.

Major Points to be Discussed

The event is scheduled after the negotiations of the UN plastic treaty (INC-5.2) in Geneva. The summit aims to discuss key policy outcomes, which can be further implemented in real life. The two major themes from the summit are Circular Economy & Sustainability, which will open discussions on advanced recycling techniques, PCR, regulatory alignment, and traceability.

85 Major business presentations will explore topics like hybrid packaging solutions that can be aligned with the new regulations. The major outcomes are to be targeted with the inclusion of AI and data analytics in smart design.

Moreover, the packaging in sectors like EV, solar, fast-moving consumer goods, and e-commerce is also to be discussed at a higher level, where technology will be a crucial factor for the development. One of the crucial parts of the industry leaders will include debating innovations in raw materials that align with sustainable practices.
