The Food and Beverage Carton Alliance (FBCA) announced the official launch of RECY: CHECK, a recyclability documentation procedure for fibre-based composite packaging (FBCP), together with the announcement of the 2025 edition of the Design for Recycling (DfR) Guidelines for liquid packaging cartons (LPCs). Collectively, these creativities mark a major step forward in FBCA’s mission to promote safe, circular, and sustainable packaging resolutions across worldwide food & beverage structures.

“RECY: CHECK and the efficient Liquid Packaging Cartons: Design for Recycling Guidelines are more than mechanical equipment; they are planned enablers for a circular economy,” expressed Sebastian Bartels, director general of FBCA. “They support our market speak with one voice on recyclability, bring into line with developing EU guidelines and worldwide objectives, and authorize every actor in the worth chain, from creators and manufacturers to policymakers and recyclers, to make knowledgeable, evidence-based decisions.”
