MeetingPack 2026 to Spotlight Breakthroughs in High-Performance Barrier Materials

MeetingPack 2026, the popular event for innovation in barrier packaging, will reveal its seventh edition at the Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe in Valencia on 21st and 22nd April 2026. One of the themes at the event is Barrier Packaging Solutions: A Challenge for the Circular Economy. Under this theme, the congress will bring major stakeholders, companies, and specialists under one roof to identify the opportunities and challenges arising from the shift to more sustainable models.

This event, led by the technology centers AIMPLAS and AINIA, alongside MeetingPack 2026, consolidates its position as the champion forum, perfect for exploring recent trends and scenarios in barrier packaging solutions and materials.

For two days straight, the event will deliver a power-packed program of roundtables, success stories, and presentations on adaptation, sustainability, and innovation to achieve circular economy goals. The congress is focused on packaging material and equipment suppliers, manufacturers, multinational food corporations, food law specialists, public authorities, researchers, and distribution companies.

The final program is divided into eight thematic sessions, with a total of 30 experts presenting their experience and thoughts on the development of innovative materials that support achieving the sustainability target set by Regulation 40/2025. The opening of the MeetingPack 2026 will focus on the commitment to innovative materials for creating robust, sustainable packaging. The day will continue covering the sustainability topic in flexible barrier packaging, supervised by MORCHEM Sales Director for SPAIN & LATAM, Antoni Segovia.

The speakers will include representatives from Quimovil and LEYGATECH. In the afternoon, Jenifer Mitja will give an excellent presentation on innovations in rigid barrier packaging. The same will be stretched till the round table on packaging smart strategies to win the 2030 targets, starring food industry specialists like Cinta Bosch from AECOC and Joan Alcaraz from Platos Tradicionales.

Following this, the second day will continue with a debate on innovative materials, supervised by MONDI, with recommendations from NOVAMONT, AVANTIUM, and QUIMOVIL. Furthermore, MeetingPack 2026 will also offer an opportunity to promote partnerships between institutions, technology centers, and industry that bolster the development of solutions and knowledge transfer aligned with environmental challenges and the latest regulations via networking.
