Aetna Changing Industrial Packaging with Revolutionary Technologies

Date: 26th May 2025

Announcement

Aetna Group is participating in Ipack-Ima 2025, with its high-tech solution for the in-house logistics sector and industrial packaging. The company has planned to introduce two innovative lines. The key theme of it is end-of-line integration, sustainability, and automation for the food industry. The event will take place at Hall 6, stand B21, B39, D22, D40, along with a stand covering 800 square meters.

Usage

One of the features of this line is the appropriate usage of sustainable packaging. The case is produced by water-activated adhesives and paper tape. The cellulosic materials are used for wrapping the pallet, including the entire process. This solution describes Aetna Group’s efforts and initiatives towards diminishing environmental impact and elevating the circular economy.

Robopac, a brand within the Aetna Group, specializes in end-of-line packaging machines. The Robopac is not just limited to the ‘plastic free’ concept; it enables tailor-made solutions for every material. This maximizes efficiency and minimizes consumption. The Techlab is considered of industry’s most advanced research laboratory. The laboratory scientifically rechecks the effective state of the packaging systems for palletised loads. This ensures accuracy in the sealing process with limited use of film in packaging. The recycle compactor takes cellulosic materials and plastics for recycling, which accelerates raw material recovery to leverage resource management.

The semi-automatic segment consists of a Spiror PW with a horizontal ring wrapping machine, along with paper tape, mostly for robot S7 and long objects. The machine is self-operated and uses stretch film for packaging different shapes and weights.

End-of-line solution in the food sector

The end-of-line solution in the food sector consists of solutions for tinplate packaging with secondary packaging, internal logistics, robotic palletizing, and wrapping. This is initiated by the Robopac Systems business unit, Robopac Packers, and OCME. Further, strengthened with the long-term engagement. The engagement consists of a synergetic approach for the pet food and canning industry, as well as for the bakery and pasta sector. The Aetna Group, being a reference company in the food sector, acknowledged the packaging quality, effective, and efficient production.

What is the impact of technological advancement on the packaging market?

The packaging market has evolved with advanced technology. The multiple solutions to the packaging market are empowering more developments and solutions to the manufacturing process. Aetna’s valuable participation will encourage other new businesses to approach sustainable packaging for their products. The initiative will make a difference to the industrial packaging sector. The integration of an end-of-line solution will attract visitors. The visitors will be the judges to honor the advancement contributing to the eco-friendly packaging and the life cycle of automation systems.
